About Flor.

The woman behind the microphone.

Flor Elena Robledo has spent more than three decades telling stories that matter.

A bilingual journalist, producer, and communicator, she has dedicated her career to helping people understand not only what is happening, but why it matters. Her work has taken her from television studios to newsrooms, from national broadcasts to conversations around the family table. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: people matter more than headlines.

She was raised in a Cuban-American family that understood the value of freedom long before she ever reported on it. Her father arrived in the United States as a child after fleeing communist Cuba, leaving behind nearly everything familiar in search of a future that could only be built through faith, sacrifice, and hard work.

Those stories shaped her long before journalism did. They taught her that history matters, that freedom should never be taken for granted, and that every generation has the responsibility to preserve both.

Flor married young, built a business alongside her husband, and together they learned that the strongest partnerships are not built on luck, but on commitment. From the very beginning, they chose to build something lasting—one decision, one sacrifice, and one season at a time.

Then life changed forever.

They lost their little boy, David.

No parent is ever prepared for that kind of heartbreak. It is the kind of loss that leaves an empty chair at the table and questions that cannot always be answered. Yet in the midst of unimaginable grief, Flor discovered something that would shape the rest of her life: faith does not always remove suffering, but it gives us the strength to walk through it.

That season became the foundation for everything that followed.

She continued building her career in broadcast journalism, became the mother of three daughters, and found a deeper purpose in using her voice to encourage, inform, and serve others. Her experiences taught her that behind every headline is a human story, and behind every person is a story worth hearing with compassion.

Today, Flor’s work reaches audiences through three platforms.

Be Bold is a place for thoughtful conversations about faith, family, culture, health, leadership, and the issues shaping our lives.

Bold News delivers clear, trustworthy coverage of the stories impacting families, communities, and our nation—without unnecessary noise or sensationalism.

The Journal offers longer reflections, essays, and personal stories for readers who want to slow down, think deeply, and grow intentionally.

Whether she is interviewing a world-renowned expert, reporting on current events, or sharing lessons learned through her own journey, Flor brings the same perspective to every conversation: truth should be communicated with clarity, conviction, and compassion.

She believes strong families build strong communities. That faith gives hope even in life’s hardest seasons. That freedom is worth protecting. And that every person has the ability to leave the world a little better than they found it.

Above all, Flor is a wife, a mother, and a storyteller who believes the most meaningful conversations are the ones that help people live with greater courage, wisdom, and purpose.

And she’s just getting started.
